Please call me RL. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, I’ve established myself as an eclectic professional, interested in everything from sports, to music, and beyond. After learning through years of hands-on hard work, I dedicated myself to channeling my knowledge into helping others create their own business success stories. The world isn’t only run on big business, it is often smaller companies that need the most assistance to truly succeed. I love having the opportunity, and the knowledge base to do just that: help businesses succeed.
In my position as CEO of The RL Fleming Group, I’ve had the pleasure of working with corporate divisions, start-ups, family owned small businesses, and even State level Government departments. TRFG is based in my home state in the beautiful city of Nashville, where I have enjoyed building my current business foundation while also continuing to run the music consulting business I began 27 years ago in Atlanta, GA.
I established The RL Fleming Group to be a go-to for businesses in need of operational support and strategic planning advice. I have been privileged to act as an Executive Leader and Strategic Partner to CEOs and COOs in many businesses ranging from closely held start-ups, to large publicly traded companies. Through my 25 years of experience in a multitude of industries including health, retail, telecommunications, finance and banking, I’ve built an intense appreciation and understanding of operational management and strategy development, which has culminated in the launch of The RL Fleming Group. Thanks to those experiences, I have developed a wide-ranging skill set which includes a uniquely bold approach to creative analysis and problem solving which is applicable to all areas of business, from small town stores, to the corporate world and beyond. Part of that skill set includes a particular emphasis on strengthening operations to increase revenue for clients by employing process improvement strategies and efficiency enhancements.
TRFG was designed to be focused on your business needs and level of expertise. Simple fact dictates that not all businesses are the same, and thus not all solutions are equal for any given problem. My vision for this Group was to attend to the business culture required for success, not only for myself, but for each of my unique clients as well. As the leader of this company, my work ethic, focus, initiatives, and attitude form the basis of my team’s approach to helping other businesses reach their own goals. Having studied Business Management, and completed further work in Strategic Analysis at Vanderbilt University, I understand perfectly that times and circumstances change, and it is often necessary to be able to form and implement creative solutions to all sorts of problems both expected and unforeseen. Based on that understanding, each member of my team is fully focused on meeting any given need by working with clients and other team members along with our partners to achieve success in every endeavor.
Anyone can succeed with a dream, and the right foundation. As a small business owner myself, I know what it means to work hard and long to achieve goals. I know the hardships, and I know the dedication it can take to make something last. I also know that sometimes, all it takes is the help of an experienced professional to go that extra mile.
